Our last Snell Isle Food Truck Friday of the year will be this week, Nov 4th. Bring your friends, join your neighbors for this casual event along Snell Isle Boulevard in front of the Vinoy. Lawn chairs and coolers optional, but many will gather to enjoy their meal in the greenspace. The truck will be ready to serve at 5:30PM until about 8:00, or it sells out. They take cash or credit card and serve non-alcoholic beverages.
Fishin Chicken is our food truck and they have provided a menu ahead of time to check out. We hope you'll join us for this popular event. All are welcome!
UPDATE!Hit The Mitt and Saint Pete Girl Bosses are very grateful for the Snell Isle resident contributions for our younger neighbors in south Florida. They appreciate your help and are wrapping things up for now until they are made aware of further needs. Thank you again for your concern and efforts.
One way Snell Isle residents can directly help those impacted by Hurricane Ian is by providing supplies. Hit the Mitt and Saint Pete Girl Bosses are partnering to deliver new and gently used adult and children's clothing to southwest Florida. They are also asking for sports equipment donations they will deliver to rec centers and schools who may be able to help the kids while their families are dealing with the aftermath and trauma of the storm.
Catherine Nelke, our Snell Isle neighbor, and founder of Hit the Mitt, has offered to be the drop-off point for your donations. Catherine is at 1220 Monterey Blvd NE. If you have questions, please email Catherine at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thank you Catherine, and all those who will provide donations to send down to southwest Florida.
