Snell Isle Property Owners Association General Meeting - May 17th

We hope you'll join your SIPOA Board for a General Meeting on Wednesday, May 17th. Socialize at 6:30 PM with snacks and beverages (including wine). Meeting is from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the St. Petersburg Woman's Club on Snell Isle Blvd.

In addition to an update on board activities, we'll hear from Chip Wells, Crime Prevention Specialist, St. Pete Police Department, on what we can do to stay safe in our everyday lives - at home, in the office, out and about. Resident author, Howard Pollack will discuss his two books; "Everywhere that Tommie Goes" and his latest work of fiction,"Unmasked" inspired by actual events in Snell Isle.

We'll also have the latest Snell Isle branded merchandise, magnetic decals, available for a small donation of $10. Please bring cash if possible.

Snell Isle Traffic Impacted By Sunday Triathlon

Coming over the bridge onto Snell Isle, you've likely seen the alert sign about the St. ANTHONY’S TRIATHLON which will take place this Sunday, April 30th. As in years past, a portion of the running segment will take place on Snell Isle. You can see that it meanders over the bridge and down Brightwaters Blvd NE and back. The alert sign indicates that it will disrupt traffic from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Sunday, so please plan accordingly and give yourself extra time should you need to drive off the Isle!

New Palm Trees Installed Along Snell Isle Boulevard

We had eight new palm trees installed along Snell Isle Boulevard in the park in front of the Vinoy this week. Look for more details on the project in the June Panther, but wanted you to know that you are not seeing things...there really are new trees there.

Thanks to all who worked on this project and for those who have joined the Snell Isle Property Owners Association by paying dues (you can join on the Snell Isle website!). That allows us the opportunity to afford to take on beautification efforts like this.
